Michelle Parrot was born in Jonquiere, Quebec in 1948, where she got her first training as an artist. She later graduated from the Ecole des Beaux-Arts de Quebec in 1971 and obtained a Fine Art teaching certificate from the University of Laval in 1972. She taught at the College de St-Foy (1973) and published humorous drawings in the 7ieme Jour a Quebec in 1977. Since 1976 she has been working in a studio, concentrating her efforts and etchings.

Elle est ensuite diplômée de l'École des Beaux-Arts de Québec en 1971 et obtient un certificat d'enseignement des Beaux-Arts de l'Université de Lavel en 1972. Elle a enseigné au Collège de St-Foy (1973) et a publiédes dessins humoristiques dans le 7ème Jour à Québec en 1977. Depuis 1976, elle travaille en atelier,concentrant ses efforts a ses gravures.
